I love this picture. Rhianna thinks the sun rises and sets on her Daddy (as we all do) and this kinda looks just like that!

Yeah, Updates!
Summer is over and Fall is coming, it is already getting cold at night here. Cooper starts school on Wed, Rhianna, preshcool next week and Joe and I are off to Nashville, TN for a week. Business mtgs, nothing fun! Kassidy is big as ever, almost sitting up, talking and laughing when you touch that little spot just under her chin! She also found her toes. Isn't that just the cutest? I love it!
Today we went for a nature walk for Fam Home Evening. We talked about how lucky we are to have a beautiful world, etc. We got back to the house and Rhianna says, while looking up at the sky, "I just wish I could see Jesus!" Cooper in all his wisdom, says, "you can, just find a picture, or something." Rhianna said, " no for real" and Cooper says, "you can't, Heaven is too far up." Then Rhianna says, "Wait, I think I can see his feet!"(still looking at the sky). They are just so darn funny! They are so smart and innocent.
The fair and round-up was this weekend, we had way too much fun at the carnival. Kassidy got her first taste of cotton candy, from Joe, of course! She thought that was very good!
I am finishing up a good quarter in my Mary Kay business. I have added a couple team members and hope to be a team leader by the end of September. Super exciting for me!! Joe is traveling all over, trying to get Fall business going. I am going to spend the next couple of weeks trying to make sure everyone is clean, fed, and where they are supposed to be on time! Wish me luck!

Cooper, Rhianna, and Kassidy
Rhianna turned 4! She was so funny on her birthday. She kept saying "Becuase I am 4 now......" and she got to make all the choices becuase "I am the Birthday girl!" We were playing today, she was pretending to have a Mary Kay party with all her little play make-up and lotions. She kept calling me sweetie and telling me what was for sale and what was not. She is getting so big all of a sudden. I am not sure what her and Cooper were doing, but I heard her say, "Oops, Cooper we shouldn't do that, Look what we are teaching Kassidy."
We have been talking about what we can do while we are young so we can be temple worthy. The kids both picked that they would work on talking nicer to each other. They were going out to play yesterday and I heard Cooper say, "Rhianna, we are supposed to be remembering to talk nice so we can go to the temple." I am very excited, they are actully listening and applying things that will help them make good choices through life!
Kassidy is so much fun. She may be a little spoiled, accidently! The kids are so attentive, anytime she makes a noise, they run to her rescue! This is good and bad, cause she is starting to want someone there all the time!
Cooper also had a b-day. The big 6 and his first friend party. He got a saddle and has been going with dad to ride whenever possible. Today he got to help gather and made a big save. He single handedly kept a big bunch of yearlings from escaping. He was very excited to tell the story and beamed even bigger when dad said what a good job he had done! I am going to be sad when he goes to school ALL DAY!

Goggles Down!
I bought goggles for swimming lessons. Imaginations are such a wonderful things. Soon they were protective eyewear for boxing and Karate. While we were watching fire works, the kids would say "goggles down" and they would pull them down off their foreheads. They watched all night like that! Too Funny!
The WORST EVER!
Ok, so I have not blogged for over a month. BAD!! Lets play catch up. Kassidy is 12 wks today, weighs roughly 14lbs, is so cute and way too much fun! She smiles and coos and the kids fight over who gets to look at her. Cooper is turning 6 this week, where did 6 years go??? Rhianna is convinced that her b-day should be before Coopers! Joe is putting lawn in this week. We are so excited!! I have gone back to work, so to speak. I am once again holding MK appointments!! Yeah! Summer is flying by and I am not getting anything done. Who cares, though, really? Kids are fed, clean and played with and that is all that really matters, right??!! OH, We bought a Durango. I LOVE IT. Room for all and then some.

I made a PIE!!!
Cooper and Rocky
Cooper was in the Jr. Rodeo this last weekend and had a ball! In the Mutton Bustin', his sheep took two steps out of the shoot and lept 4 feet in the air! Needless to say, Coop went off the side and got a mouthful of dirt. Poor buddy! A friend of ours got a picture of the sheep in mid-air with Cooper hanging off the side, when she e-mails it to me I will post it. He did very well in the rest of his events. I was so proud of him, he is getting so big. On the speed barrel (run horse down around a barrel and back) Rocky would not go! He kept trying to go back to the gate. Cooper didn't let him quit, he didn't get frustrated or upset, he just kept trying until he got to the barrel. Then, of course, when Rocky realized they were going back in the direction of the gate, he went! Cooper did not win a buckle, which he had his heart set on, but he is excited for next year and is already talking about what he will do different!

Count Down and Kids
Today is Wednesday, tomorrow is Thursday....that leaves 4 days! All is well and I am big. That is all I am going to say!
Cooper started Tee-ball this week. He is in little boy heaven! He has watched the Sandlot since he was 2 and has practiced sliding just like they do. On Monday, they were practicing how to "run home" and you guessed it, Cooper slid in like a pro. Everybody laughed and clapped and he jumped up with a huge grin, his dreams have come true! After practice, I asked him what his favorite part about his first day was and he said, very proudly, "sliding into home and making a huge cloud of dust!"
Little Rhianna...what are we going to do with her?!! Today I combed her hair super cute and curled her bangs, which she absolutley hates, becuase she says they don't look good. Anyway, I made her let me curl her bangs and she ran off to play, or so I thought. A few minutes later she comes back to the bathroom where I am coming my hair, with her bangs all wet and a barrett hanigng in them!! What do I do?? All I said was "Nice, Rhianna!" She is so independent! All she said was, "Well, I don't like them curled" and that was the end of it!
Their little personalities are so funny!

NAN!!!
Nan, I was so glad to hear from you! I don't know how to comment to just you, so everybody gets to read! (Others-Nancie is a wonderful friend that Joe and I knew at college. We love her!)
Baby is coming on Monday, the 27th. C-section, so all is scheduled. Is this your 3rd? How exciting for you. I don't know how to get to your blog from my blog, so if you check this again, give me your address!

Easter In The Brush
OK, so that picture of our family is not the best, but did you notice how Cooper's head hides my belly? We all look real pleased! Easter was fun. We hid eggs in the brush next to the house. Joe was super excited becuase that is a tradition from when he was young. Of course they were in the real desert of Nevada, we were just on our little lot!
The kids were so funny, screaming and rushing everywhere. Rhianna kept falling down and loosing her eggs. Her little legs just weren't quite long enough to clear the sagebrush! Cooper had to go out yesterday becuase he was sure he could see an egg from his bedroom window! (no luck!) So sweet!!

Blogging and Brownies
I am all alone! Joe and the kids went to deliver Anipro to Uncle Dan's. I decided to make a pan of brownies and start a blog. I think I swore I would never do it. But, I figured with baby Kassidy coming and everyone so far away, this would be a good way to keep everyone updated! Nothing fancy, though, I am still somewhat of a skeptic! We will see how good I am at this........
